<p>Your deep beliefs (Usually the same ones your parents have) determine how much money you will make, or won’t make; What kind of home you live in; the clothes you wear the kind of car you drive, and everything else. Everything in your life is controlled by your deep beliefs. In order to change some of your beliefs you will need to face some of your resentments, and fears, and jealousies, and envies, and the words your parents told you. After years of believing in your beliefs and seeing evidence of them being true, they have become a part of your bones. The good news is we can choose to change our beliefs and immediately start seeing results.</p>
<p>It is not as easy as many motivational Gurus explain, but it is possible to change or eliminate debilitating beliefs. Even beliefs which have become so instilled in our minds that they have become a habit. Habits have a way of infiltrating our sub conscious minds; like which way we tie our shoe laces or which leg we put into our pants first, which side of the face we begin shaving first, or how we apply makeup or brush our teeth. Along with all these physical habits we have developed deeply entrenched mental habits and beliefs which have served to either prevent us from leaving our comfort zone or to procrastinate when faced with normal challenges of success.</p>
<p>Every day we are being bombarded with countless messages of negativity relayed to us as fact. You have all heard the most common list. ‘Money is the root of all evil. Money doesn’t grow on trees; it takes money to make money. Rich people are evil and poor people are spiritual. Don’t bite off more than you can chew! Look before you leap!! and on and on. When we just look at what is possible, for instance money is made of paper in most cases. Paper is made of wood from trees, so in a roundabout way money does in fact grow on trees. We can change our thinking of all the habits in our mind by looking at an alternative way of perceiving what these beliefs really mean. …. More to follow in my next message</p>

<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: georgia,palatino;">In all my years of study and research into the wonders of personal development I have never ceased to be amazed at the simplicity of success. Having read countless books on motivation, Inspiration and goal setting it is so pleasantly rewarding to realise that to succeed at anything, to have anything, to go anywhere, to become anyone, just Four essentials are required.  First is <strong></strong></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: georgia,palatino;"><strong>Desire</strong>. Desire is more than just wanting. Anybody can want something. they don&#8217;t even need a reason for wanting it. But desire is emotionally and physically needing something. With in most cases overwhelming reasons for having it. Desire has what I call a STIC  which means  <strong>S</strong>o <strong>T</strong>hat <strong>I</strong> <strong>C</strong>an. If you desire something the STIC will give you a credible reason for that desire. This reacts with your emotions, making your desire powerful enough to add the next ingredient in the cake mix of success. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: georgia,palatino;"> <strong>Expectation.</strong> When you expect to get that which you desire you create a powerful force which turns your desire into much more that just a wish or a dream. It becomes a strong emotional acceptance of knowing it will happen.  When you expect to achieve something then all that is needed is the final ingredient.  <strong></strong></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: georgia,palatino;"><strong>Action.</strong> <strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Sitting still and wishing makes no person great.  The good lord sends the fishes but you must dig the bait! </span></strong> That just about sums it up. Yes, once you have decided what it is you want in life and you apply the STIC and have a good expectation of getting it. All that is required is action.  Taking action on your desires is the final key to your success. OK I know this all sounds very basic but the system has been proved over and over throughout the centuries.  Continuing the action to its fruition is paramount. You see if you fail or cease to act, your expectation is diminished which in turn lessens your desire and finally you are back at square one. With nothing but a wish. The biggest Ahaa!! to realise is that desire without expectation is just wishful thinking. Expectation without Action is a false hope, relying on outside influences to control your dreams. Desire,expectation and action work together as an unbeatable team     But  the Icing on the cake is in ingredient number four which is <strong></strong></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: georgia,palatino;"><strong>Persistence.</strong> Persist in your desire. Persist in your expectation and Persist in your actions. Combine these four important steps into your future plans and you will be amazed at the outcome no matter how big or small your goals you will succeed.   John Regan</span></span></p>

How many people believe that? You will be surprised&nbsp; how many people do exactly that. Most of the people who complain so loudly on the negative aspects of goal setting, have never really tried. And what I mean by that is they are only either repeating a belief they have been programmed with in their early life. Or they don&rsquo;t have the self esteem to challenge these beliefs  And so many of us in this negative society have been programmed with limiting and&nbsp; unproductive beliefs. It is our beliefs and habits we have formed in our lives which eventually put the damper on any forward movement toward success. We have all heard the voices in our head. Money is the root of all evil. Money doesn&rsquo;t grow on trees. Money&nbsp; can&rsquo;t buy you love. Don&rsquo;t bite off more than you can chew! Look before you leap!  Who started all these statements? Certainly not rich and successful people. Certainly not people who were enjoying achieving goals in their lives. </p>
<p style="text-align: left;">No these negative statements were programmed into young unsuspecting minds by losers. Unsuccessful people who were espousing their excuses. Excuses for failing, excuses for not doing the hard yards. Excuses for not taking responsibilty for their lives.  And unfortunately in our young minds we weren&#8217;t mature enough to question these so called experts on poverty.  It wasn&rsquo;t too long ago the everybody believed the world was flat. I&rsquo;m sure a lot of these negative doom preachers still believe that! Fortunately those people who sit around complaining, waiting for things to happen are being drowned out and over run by people making things happen. </p>
<p style="text-align: left;">We have entered a time in our history where more and more people, especially young people are questioning this unproductive trait in our society. And older people are breaking away from the programming of&nbsp; the past, realising that it is possible to be, do and have anything you want.  This brings us to another situation which is preventing&nbsp; the new believers in getting started on the road to success. It is the number one reason most people don&rsquo;t get what they want in life.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>The number one reason most people don&rsquo;t get what they want is life is that they don&rsquo;t know what they want in life.</strong> They don&rsquo;t know what is possible for them.&nbsp; They don&rsquo;t know how to get started on the journey to becoming who they want to become. Most of them don&rsquo;t have the information and are unsure of where to go to get it. Usually their friends and family are the worst people to ask as they are paddling in the same boat.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"><strong>T</strong></span><span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"><strong>here are others who claim they know what they want, but have trouble coming to terms with why they want it</strong></span>&nbsp;&nbsp; So how do people get away from the rat race.  Well now here is where I&rsquo;m going to gamble on the chance that some of you out there&nbsp; would like to achieve certain things in their life. To be happier, richer, fitter, more lovable, more employable, more successful. Their may be people out there who feel they are already all of these things. But have higher values they would like to reach.  If you feel you are one of these then I have good news for you.  <strong>Being rich and successful is easier than being poor and a failure.</strong> Woody Allen said &#8216;Money is better than poverty if only for financial reasons.&#8217; You can change your life in five easy steps And because you are unsatisfied with your status quo at the moment I am going to let you in on these five steps.  <strong>Step one&nbsp; COP ON TO YOURSELF!</strong> Spend a few moments to take a critical look at who you are. And where you are. Remember that everything you are, everything you have accomplished so far, from the house you live in, to the the car you drive , the job you do,&nbsp; the person you are married to, clothes you wear. Are all results of the choices you have made in your life. Choices made on your beliefs and habits and values which you have been programmed with.  Are you happy with all of these situations? would you be happy to go to your grave living in exactly the same situation for the rest of your life? Do you really believe this is as good as it gets, and that all the rich and successful people in the world are just lucky?&nbsp; Or do you want more from your life?  If this is the case and you still want to proceed then my friends in order to change you have to change. In order to change YOU&nbsp; have to change.&nbsp; You have to change your thinking, you have to compete against the negative voices in your head laughing at you Ha Ha hah you&rsquo;ll never be rich you never get anywhere you&rsquo;ll always be the same old you. I know you better than you do Hah hah hah. You have to tell these voices where to go. And to do this it takes courage.  These voices -&nbsp; this programming has held you in the safe walls of your comfort zone all of your life .&nbsp; It is these very same walls that are holding you prisoner.&nbsp; Preventing you from succeeding. instilling fear and doubt on any form of challenge.  </p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Bob Proctor says if you are not living on the edge you are taking up too much room. Expanding and breaking out of your comfort zone is a secret that so many millionaires have used for years. And yet it is one of the easiest steps in becoming successful in any thing you do. There is an old riddle. How do you eat an elephant. The answer is one piece at a time.  How do you achieve the ultimate goal? exactly the same, one step at a time. This step can be a small or large as you feel comfortable with. The ancient saying&nbsp; &lsquo;The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step&rsquo; has been around for centuries. However I disagree with the thinking behind it. I feel that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a decision, a commitment to take the first step.  </p>
<p style="text-align: left;">So in this step one, you first have to look at yourself and where you are at the moment. Its hard to go anywhere if you don&rsquo;t know where you are starting from.&nbsp; This shouldn&rsquo;t take more than a few moments to work out. There must be things and situations in your present life you would like to change or improve. <strong>STEP 2</strong> Now this next step, STEP 2&nbsp; is one of the easiest and yet most difficult tasks for people who are attempting to change.  Easy because it just means picking up a pen and a sheet of paper.&nbsp; Difficult because it means writing down specifically what it is you want, or where you want to go , or who you want to be.&nbsp; It never ceases to amaze me how hard people find it just doing this simple task. You want to be rich, write it down, you want to lose weight, write it down, you want to run a marathon write it down, you want a new car or a new house write it down. Dare to dream, write down all the things you would love to have in your life, all the places you would like to go all the things you would like to become  Don&rsquo;t let worry doubt or fear stop you from this simple exercise. You re just writing words on a piece of paper. That&rsquo;s all.  as you write your desires on to the paper just add the very important addition WHY you want these things. A good idea is to put a STIC after each goal. This stands for &#8216;So that I can&#8217;&nbsp;&nbsp; This will explain why you want what it is you want! Try to write a list of at least ten things you would like to achieve, you can take your time on this. And please try to be a specific as you can. You want a new car write down the model whether its auto or manual, leather seats, alloy wheels, the colour, the&nbsp; size of the engine. Describe as specifically as you can the things you want&nbsp; on this list  </p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>STEP3</strong> This is a practice used by many and promoted by Brian Tracy When you have compiled your specific list of 10 desires take a good look at them and <strong>choose just one.</strong> The one thing on your list of wants that would have the most impact on your life if you could have it right now. Put a circle around that choice. Turn the paper over and write that choice again on the top of the page. This is now your dominant goal.  Now we are going to break this task down into small bite sized pieces. They can be a small as you feel comfortable with. Start by making a list of ten ways you feel you could set about starting to achieve this goal. If you can think of more ways fine just make a list and then here&rsquo;s is where you take the first step in the journey. You start working on that list.&nbsp; This is your plan&nbsp; and do something no matter how big or small on that plan every day.  Say You want to lose weight. You could begin by making sure you have a set of bathroom scales. It&rsquo;s a good idea&nbsp; A good way of knowing where to start from. And a good way of tracking your results.. you want to run a marathon start by researching the most reliable brand of running shoes need for the task. Simple simple little bite sized chunks of activity every day if possible.  As you achieve each small step in your plan give yourself a pat on the back and move on to the next one on the list.&nbsp; Some people, if they feel confident enough will put a deadline for achieving certain parts of their plan. But be realistic in this choice. If you are fifty pound overweight, it didn&rsquo;t get that way overnight and it wont disappear overnight either. Certain goals can take weeks, months, or many years.  <strong>STEP 4</strong> Sometimes you will find that achieving one of the small bite sized chunks&nbsp; of your goal is not working. In that case try another way,&nbsp; and don&rsquo;t be afraid to ask for help. You don&rsquo;t need to explain to the person you are asking what your ultimate goal is just that you need help with this particular stage of the effort.  Continue to work on each small sized piece of your plan until each step is achieved. </p>
<p style="text-align: left;">With the achievement of each small step you will find yourself closer to your final goal.  As well as&nbsp; creating an immense amout of satisfaction in getting what it is you set out to do, you will find in achieving your first major goal an intense sense of confidence and higher level of self esteem.  This is another perk of setting and achieving goals. It is what you are becoming as you continue to work your plan.&nbsp; If in the achieving of your major goals you become a millionaire it is not only the amount of money you have garnered for yourself but in what you have become along the way to getting it.  <strong>STEP 5</strong> Just remember it all depends on the goal and ultimate end result which you are seeking as to how much effort, time money and commitment is applied. Make you goals challenging. Just out of reach but not out of your&nbsp; grasp.&nbsp; Remaber there are many ways to climb a mountain .if you find yourself stuck half way up don&rsquo;t stop or go down try sideways. There is always another way to reach the top.  Living your dream making your wishes come true, achieving your goal, is really akin to doing a jigsaw puzzle. Whenever I begin to solve, or put together a jigsaw puzzle I usually&nbsp; begin by taking a good look at the picture on the Box. Getting the scene firmly established in my mind. This can be likened to writing down your goal specifically. I then seek out the corner pieces and edge pieces. These are usually easiest to recognise and so I begin putting these together. These can be likened to writing a list of small easy goals to begin with. After connecting the corners and edge pieces I continue on with&nbsp; the rest of the puzzle these pieces are now easier to find once I have all the borders in place. And so I continue until the puzzle is completed. It&rsquo;s exactly the same for achiving your goals.  </p>
<p style="text-align: left;">This method of getting what you want in life has been proven over and over. By almost all the great people of our time. Almost all the great people throughout history were firm advocates of setting goals. I&rsquo;m sure most of us have used a diary in our time. This is just another example of writing down goals.  If you are one of the many folks who have never bothered to try this system and are still wondering why you are still going nowhere. I urge you to try it for at least 30 days and hope you will be pleasently surprised at the out come. Remember <strong>Sitting still and wishing makes no person great. The good lord sends the fishes but you must dig the bait.</strong></p>
